According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the State Board of Regents is mulling over whether to approve the proposed $100 increase per semester for students. The decision was put off in January for further evaluation which should come tomorrow (Wednesday).
Getting a football team for KSU goes beyond the field. It will increase local and national exposure for the school which will in turn have a plethora of positive effects.
When Georgia State University began their football program a few years ago, they started to get regular coverage from the AJC on a weekly basis, and now they have their own tab which covers both football AND basketball. There has also been an increase in GSU apparel in retail stores.
Whether it’s fair or not, football will help legitimize everything at Kennesaw State University, period. I will cover many more positives on Wednesday if football is indeed coming to Cobb County.


There is much anticipation for brining football to KSU…I know it will be a tremendous boost for school pride and spirit.
